Ecolab is providing an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Digital Solutions team as Software Engineer. This role will focus on digital technologies & platforms to enable & support our Industrial Sales & Service organization globally. The Sr. Lead Developer will be a key member of the technical team, with a focus on extending of platforms to meet business requirements & collaborating with internal & external developer partners to ensure for optimal solution development.

- Design and development within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application specifically within the Sales and Field Service modules. Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 customization.
- Design and development with Dynamic 365 APIs for Integration
- Develop and support Microsoft .NET Framework applications including: .Net Core, C#, Entity Framework, and web services as well as utilizing development tools provided within the Dynamics 365 customization environment
- Utilize deep working knowledge of all Dynamics entities and concepts and translate those concepts to internal team members
- Develop, maintain, and support solutions developed using the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, as well as future technologies
- Proficient with developing, deploying, customizing and integrating MS Dynamics 365
- Recognize synergies & functionality across multiple technologies, and leverage them as appropriate
- Review and analyze business requirements and provide technical feasibility and estimates
- A solid grasp of organizational policies and process
- Create technical documents for software products using Visio, PowerPoint, MS Word and other MS Office applications.
- Participate in the Scrum process as a developer, with activities including Sprint Planning, Estimating sessions, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Demos and Sprint retrospectives.
- Translating technical requirements into application code and modules
- Provide work direction and mentor Jr developers
- Unit testing and working closely with the QA/Testing team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion, communicating updates as determined until issue is resolved
- Work closely with team to help identify root cause and implement solutions to reduce recurring defects and issues
- Acts independently under general direction
- Taking part in code reviews and reviewing the work of colleagues
- Work with developers to maintain a standard release plan, including code check in processes & solution management
Minimal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or related area
- 10 + years of professional work experience
- 4 + years of experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C#, .NET, JavaScript
- 8 + years of experience in MS Dynamics 365:
- Application Configuration
- Customize Entities
- Power Automate Flows
- Plug-Ins
- Business Processes
- Web services
- Azure Integrations
- Integrate with ERP systems

- Strong knowledge of a variety of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and an understanding as to when each of these approaches is most suitable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of working in a methodical and structured manner
- Excellent communication skills: presentation, written, and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully team with software vendors, outsourcing partners and internal business and IT associates
- Must be able to perform as an effective member in a team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude, and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies, and passion for conveying knowledge
- Excellent organization skills
