DUTIES: Contribute to the team responsible for conducting research on and applying machine learning techniques to speech processing in order to improve functionalities of Comcast's voice-operated remote control offerings; research and develop machine learning (ML) solutions for processing speech audio and producing actionable data such as transcriptions and audio metadata; develop and automate ML data pipelines using Python and Agile development methodologies; and use these pipelines to build and test machine learning models; implement, refine, and validate machine learning algorithms of existing high-performance models and servers; provide suggestions on model optimization including the newest neuro-network choices and server frameworks; execute existing specifications of designs and develop data pipelines consisting of data ingest, data validation, data cleaning, and data monitoring; train machine learning models, validate the accuracy of the models, and deploy validated models into production.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, any Engineering, or a related technical field; and one (1) year of post-baccalaureate experience (or, Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, any Engineering, or a related technical field; and three (3) years of post-baccalaureate experience) automating data pipelines; and working with Agile development and QA testing. Candidate also must have working knowledge of Python and Machine Learning training and techniques, which can be gained through education, research, or experience, or any suitable combination thereof.
