DUTIES: Provide technical leadership in designing and developing data architecture; perform data modeling; write SQL to query Hive, Oracle, Teradata, and MS SQL Server databases; develop scalable data governance delivery models to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines; perform data profiling and data security access control in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform; use Python and Django Web Framework for automation; analyze statistical data using SAS and R; work with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, Prediction Algorithm, edge AI, and edge computing to develop data architecture; ensure programs are envisioned, designed, developed and implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs; interface with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure that most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs; ensure solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable and delivered on schedule; develop, document, and ensure compliance with best practices including but not limited to coding standards, object-oriented design, platform and framework specific design concerns and human interface guidelines; monitor emerging technologies/technology practices for potential use within the Company; design and develop updated infrastructure in support of one or more business processes; mentor, review code and verify that object-oriented design best practices and coding and architectural guidelines are adhered to; contribute to the overall system implementation strategy for the enterprise; gather and understand client needs to find key areas where technology leverage is possible to improve business processes; define architectural approaches, develop technology proofs, and communicate technology direction; monitor the project lifecycle from intake through delivery; and ensure the entire solution design is complete and consistent.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and seven (7) years of experience developing data architecture; performing data modeling; writing SQL to query Hive, Oracle, Teradata, and MS SQL Server databases; developing scalable data governance delivery models to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines; of which five (5) years include performing data profiling; and analyzing statistical data using SAS and R; of which three (3) years include working with Machine Learning and Prediction Algorithm; of which one (1) year includes performing data security access control in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform; and using Python and Django Web Framework for automation. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, the employer will accept an additional two (2) years of experience developing data architecture.
