Job Summary
Responsible for managing the daily network operations of Comcast Spectator's - Wells Fargo Center arena and Flyers Training Facility. Directs advisory groups in designing and implementing both technical and business standards. Monitors budget and ensures all projects and initiatives adhere to the budget. Monitors staff work performance. Provides business and technical guidance and information to direct reports. Supports all aspects of developing the Information Technology team. Manages team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees. Serves as subject matter expert and provides mentorship to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies, assist in development and meeting of, departmental budget.
Job Description

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the development and operation of Comcast Spectacor's network infrastructure and platforms.
  • Help drive the technical infrastructure roadmap for the Wells Fargo Center arena and Flyers Training Facility to deliver the best fan and customer experience in sports and entertainment.
  • People leadership for the network infrastructure team and building out the networking roadmap.
  • Coordinates resources to configure, monitor and maintain all servers, switches and firewalls on the Comcast Spectacor network. Leads special network projects and installations.
  • Provides multi-tier support to all departments and maintains mutually beneficial relationships with vendors to ensure appropriate support of all business activities.
  • Participates in IT budget development and assists leadership team with the research of IT needs for their respective departments. Researches and recommends new equipment.
  • Communicates changes in technology and services from the network infrastructure team to the appropriate channels and personnel.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Have the ability Must be work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Need:
  • Knowledge of IP address management tools such as IP-Control or IP-Plan
  • Proficient with in Cisco Switch, Palo-Alto Firewall, and arena/stadium technology is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with theatrical lightening, access control with CCTV, and windows servers.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, working in teams and as an individual contributor
  • Ability to describe problems clearly and concisely in both written and oral forms and communicate both orally and in writing in a clear, professional and pleasant manner.
  • Self-motivated with desire for continuous learning

Education/Experience We're Looking For:
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT Operations, or equivalent job related experience/knowledge as determined by management preferred, but not required.
