POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking to add a Product Owner to support our cloud backend products, as Azure, Snowflake and SAP Business Warehouse. You will be responsible for maximizing the value of these products by ensuring they are brought to life in the individual North American Operating Companies. You will have the opportunity to work at both a regional and global level to help influence and drive the Data and Analytics roadmap around the backend of analytics platforms and products. You will work with various functional leaders within North America to shape their strategies with regards to product adoption.

  • Responsible for maximizing the value and ensuring the products are brought to life in North America
  • Work with Operating Company Functional and IT Leaders to develop their product roadmaps and consolidate into a broader North America product roadmap
  • Influence the global product roadmaps to incorporate the North America Operating Company needs
  • Owns the regional user stories in the overall product backlog and is accountable for the prioritization and the overall delivery
  • Act as the voice of North America back to the global IT Product Manager as well as advocates for the product within the Operating Companies, working to bridge any gaps
  • Understand the backlog and prioritization for North America
  • Take ownership of priority regional pain points and help drive to resolution (while in alignment with global Product Managers)
  • Meet regularly with each IT functional stream and Functional Relationship Managers to ensure they understand value of the products and look for additional opportunities
  • Partner with Functional Relationship Managers to develop Opco product roadmaps and consolidate into 1 North America product roadmap, work with global Product Managers

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably computer science or field related to the product or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in IT with 2+ or more of those years working with cloud-based platforms
  • 2+ years of experience working with Data Engineering Technology (Azure Data Services, AWS Data Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake)
  • 1+ year of experience developing strategy as it relates to technology such as: planning upgrades, implementation, roadmap development

  • 1+ year of experience working with Snowflake

The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
