Position Summary
As an HR Generalist, you will coordinate with the HR team to provide direct support to the 330+ employees on-site at the Denver Nestle Purina manufacturing facility. In this critical front-office role, you will assist the HR Manager with planning, implementation and administration of policies and programs relative to employment, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, department improvements and projects. You will leverage your communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills to help foster employee engagement, retention and development. Beyond your understanding of HR principles and labor laws, you will apply your integrity, ethics and care to prioritize employee concerns and provide effective solutions and support.

The approximate pay range for this position is $59,400 - $102,300. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.

Position Summary

- Collaborate with the HR team to provide onboarding and orientation, benefits and compensation administration, training and development, and performance management, utilizing applicable employment laws, policies and best practices
- Address daily inquiries and scenarios in a timely manner, including transactional HR items, conflict management, assistance to factory leadership with employee performance concerns, and application of disciplinary action as needed to facilitate a safe and productive work environment
- Maintain and enhance personnel policies and execute training for factory leadership on regulatory HR processes that impact the organization (FMLA, FLSA, ADAA, EEOC, etc.)
- Assist in monitoring the Affirmative Action Program and EEO Compliance, ensuring adherence to all employment procedures set forth by the company, federal and state laws
- Champion the factory Diversity, Equity & Inclusion program in collaboration with the local leadership sponsor and corporate team support
- Encourage associate engagement in activities and team-building plans through recognition, community outreach, mental wellbeing initiatives, and holistic health and wellness events
- Prioritize workday time on the factory floor to build relationships with frontline associates and proactively identify opportunity areas for the HR team
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Human Resources or related field
- 3+ years of administrative experience in human resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and time & attendance system(s)
