Sr. Director, Strategic Finance- Xumo

Job Summary
Responsible for directing and organizing the strategic financial planning process. Conducts performance, ROI and competitive analysis. Reviews financial statements and analysis and possesses solid foundational knowledge of corporate system of accounts. Leads and conducts special projects , financial analysis and research of business issues in order to provide top management with financial data and business advice to support their resource allocation decisions and objectives for corporate growth and profitability. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization's strategy and go-to-market tactics. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform on a variety of branded 4K streaming devices and smart TVs. Powered by Comcast's global technology platform, Xumo devices and services feature an entertainment experience designed to make it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content through a world-class user interface and voice search, and for partners to meaningfully connect and engage with millions of consumers.
Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Serves as a channel for senior management to relay their financial planning and business needs/issues. Leads the preparation and review of Long Range Plan materials for the executive leaders and manages ongoing reporting against financial objectives.
• Develops ways to continually improve the processes to ensure timely and accurate operational analysis and financial review for management team.
• Develops and implements organizational policies to determine planning policies and instructions, financial planning methodology and database design.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Highly Preferred Experience:

• Ideal candidate will have strategic finance experience within corporate development, consulting, investment banking, etc.
• Role is office based 4 days/week & remote 1 day/week.
