Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- A minimum of 7 years relevant work experience
- Supervisory experience

- Demonstrated experience in financial management and financial operations
- Demonstrated experience in managing HR operations
- Experience managing part time and full time staff
- Demonstrated experience working across teams
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Demonstrated experience building new processes or operational systems
- Experience with finance, controls and budgeting
- Personal or professional experience related to the mission of the Center or its Initiative/Labs preferred
- A passion for internal operations, enabling the success of others, and problem-solving
- Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, or improving systems or standard operating procedures
- An ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously, delivering on commitments and operating with speed, accuracy, and strong judgment
- Entrepreneurial with an enthusiasm for doing whatever it takes to get the job done
- An ability to drive to big-picture goals while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills that will resonate with colleagues of diverse backgrounds
Additional Information
This position is a fully benefits-eligible term appointment ending two years from date of hire, with possibility of renewal.

This is a hybrid position based on our campus in Cambridge, MA. As a campus-based institution, we place a high value on the in-person experience, cross-team collaboration, and strong community building in order to create a vibrant campus for our students, faculty, staff, and research fellows. The position is required to work in-person on campus a minimum of three days per week during the academic year. Specific days and schedule will be determined between you and your manager.

Salary Range: $85,100 - $146,500
Note: Starting salaries typically fall in the lower half of the salary range; however, they are ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity.
