Primary Responsibilities:
The Development & Validation Engineer for PTDR Physical & Complete Means Reduction is tasked with the creation, development, and validation of components and systems.
You will collaborate closely with various engineering groups engaged in the transmission and driveline system. This collaboration extends to, but is not limited to, transmission hardware, software, calibration, thermal management, engine, driveline, and electrified propulsion engineering teams.
The Development Engineer is also responsible for the development of system-level DFMEA, execution of DVPR, and Test Management to ensure the achievement of functional objectives and durability goals.
You will participate in post-test reviews, including failure analysis, and provide support for assembly plant activities to facilitate smooth product launches.
Ready to travel - Frequent day trips to Canada.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or an equivalent Engineering field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of engineering experience in Automatic Transmission, Driveline, or Electrified Powertrain hardware, calibration, or controls development.
Proficiency in communication and presentation skills, along with experience in using basic PC software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
A highly motivated and self-directed individual with the ability to lead multiple complex projects and maintain a positive attitude."
