Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ongoing evolution of the XGEI Smartsheet tool including future integrations and alignment with other SS users.
  • Leads the Program Office Smartsheet Steering Committee and is ultimately responsible to incorporate feedback and maintaining a minimum standard to enable various functions within the tools: reporting, metrics, dashboards, planning
  • Acts as the XGIE SME for Smartsheet and is the main point of contact for Integrations and Education.
  • Guides Program Office Power Users, identified opportunities to implement best practices and standardization across team.
  • Partners closely with our Governance and Communications Senior Manager to ensure alignment and optimal performance with our overall portfolio tool management architecture and solutions to ensure all needs to support reporting and communications are met including standardization of data points for reporting and Brand consistency and usability of the SS UI.
  • Partners closely with our Governance and Communications Senior Manager to share updates to be incorporated into playbooks, job aids and training materials. They work together to build materials and execute training plans related specifically to Smartsheet.
  • Sets the strategic roadmap for our tools and data management including metrics evolution and working towards real time business intelligence. This includes SS evolution to enable Portfolio Management/Planning and GTM Environments.
  • Responsible for the framework and standards within Smartsheet including standardized and repeatable methodology for pull reporting and building out metrics.
  • Influencing and managing at an Enterprise level for the strategy and implementation of complex solutions.
  • Leads Smartsheet integration with all our various partners where we share date: TPX Strategic Planning, SBP, GTO, Unique Delivery Instances, etc.
  • Prioritizes adhoc SS requests for the team to address.

  • Provides leadership and management to the Program Management team. Possesses staffing accountability, including recruitment and retention, hiring & performance management and leadership and professional development.
  • Provides support for corporate budgeting and budget tracking.
  • Recommends and implements corrective action with the Program Management Office (PMO,) as necessary, to improve performance.
  • Trains, hires and develops PMO staff. Has performance management responsibilities. Responsible for staff performance and salary and bonus administration.
  • Develops and maintains performance metrics to makes informed recommendations for strategic decision making.
  • Keeps abreast of new developments in project management methodologies, agile practices, best practices and industry standards.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
