Position Summary

We're a leader in the pet care category and part of the world's largest food company-so you can imagine our salesforce is BIG. In pet care, we focus our sales efforts within the retail and veterinary sales channels to ensure we're at the forefront of consumers' minds. You'll become the expert in our products and the face behind Purina brands to your customers-some of the most well recognized and loved brands around the world.

As an Account Manager, Ecommerce, you'll be responsible for managing and growing our Store-Based Retailers' online sales channels, primarily focused on ecommerce platforms and enhancing the brands' presence. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive sales, optimize product listings, and enhance the overall customer experience.

  • Lead the Pet category and customer facing conversations with best-in-class eContent recommendations and omni-enabled expertise
  • Develop and execute strategies to accelerate Store-Based Retailer.com sales and share within grocery and mass channels, with specific focus on Target and Kroger
  • Analyze and translate data into critical insights for Store-Based Retailer channels, leveraging a variety of reporting tools and syndicated data; Nielsen, IRI, PowerBI
  • Optimize assortment and representation of Purina brands in partnership with the retailer teams and conduct regular competitive analyses
  • Educate relevant cross-functional members of the Purina organization on key aspects of channel ecommerce strategy and best-in-class learnings
  • Maximize partnerships by driving alignment across cross-functional resources (Digital Shelf, Shopper Marketing, Retail Media)
  • Build consumer demand with retailer media utilizing BIC content through Salsify/Syndigo

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years' experience in sales, account management, e-commerce, shopper/customer marketing, business development or category development activity with a manufacturer, distributor, or retail operations
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% as business needs require

Other
  • Proven experience in ecommerce account management or a similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and SEO principles is preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $92,000 to $157,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
