Job Description

The Finance Manager, Supply Chain reports directly to the Finance Director, Supply Chain and works with the Corporate Finance teams. This position will provide a wide range of financial analysis regarding forecast, trends, monthly income statement, and ad hoc reports.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the National Volume Discount Projection and Plan process for over 800 programs
  • Work with the FP&A analysts on their forecast updates
  • Consolidate analysis inputs to report on Actual and Projected results
  • Be the subject matter expert of programs causing projection variances
  • Develop and apply standardize and rigorous approach to financial analysis related to procurement such as:
  • Financial modeling for comparative market basket analysis
  • Productivity analysis
  • Cost saving methodology
  • Gross/ Net spend analytics
  • Provide historical current and future financial and statistical trend information
  • Analyze and compare monthly and quarterly financial results and key performance indicators against plan and other internal/external benchmarks, including New and Lost business reporting.
  • Supports GSC Sourcing, Operations, and Distribution teams with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as it relates to program and client impact
  • Develops, prepares & presents consistent business drivers and metric, for presentation to senior GSC and BU Finance personnel
  • Leads and develops the Financial Planning and Analysis team
  • Provides leadership and growth opportunities for direct reports
  • Maintains data consolidations and integrity from multiple systems into one area to drive key metric analytics
  • Manages the preparation of special purpose or ad hoc analyses as required

Qualifications

At least 4 years of relevant work experience with increasing levels of responsibility
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business-related field (finance or accounting preferred)
Detailed oriented, strong organization skills and ability to learn quickly while working in a fast-paced multifaceted environment
Ability to adjust priorities to meet timelines
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Proven excellence in both written and verbal communication skills

Bachelors preferred
