Nestle USA, Inc. seeks a Sr. Finance Analyst - Operations Co-Pilot in Arlington VA

Duties: Provide financial analysis of manufacturing costs with the goal of proactively influencing business decisions. Gather and interpret data to deliver actionable insights while considering a broad range of interdependent issues. Collaborate effectively across a range of finance teams (e.g. Division Finance, T&P, Factory, and Supply Chain Finance teams) and cross-functional teams (internal manufacturing, contract manufacturing, TAG/R&D, procurement, etc.). Prepare reporting and analysis of variable and fixed manufacturing costs (COGS, Fixed Factory Overhead, Depreciation, Transfer Prices, etc.) through monthly period end closes, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting. Partner cross-functionally to drive budget ownership and increase financial acumen throughout the organization, using tools such as Budget vs Actuals variance analysis. Run financials analyses on projects to optimize cost savings or minimize cost aggravations. Participate/lead ad hoc projects on process improvements, reporting standardization, and strengthening of internal controls. Synthesize information from disparate sources to deliver comprehensive and actionable insights.

Salary: $116630.00 - $126630.00

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting or a related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Finance or Accounting role. Required experience must include each of the following:

  • 3 years of experience working with P&L concepts and accounting principles including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of results;
  • 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
  • 1 year of experience working in a finance manufacturing environment;
  • 1 year of experience synthesizing information from disparate sources to deliver comprehensive and actionable insights; and
  • 1 year of experience working with SAP or other ERP system such as SYSPRO, Oracle NetSuite or Epicor.

10% domestic travel is required for in-person business meetings. Telework is available up to 3 days per week.
