Parkview Cancer Institute is seeking a breast surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team and play an essential leadership role in our vision to provide leading-edge patient care.

Description
The Parkview Cancer Institute Breast Program is just one of the many tumor site specific multidisciplinary teams comprised of breast dedicated medical oncologists and breast surgical oncologists. The Breast Center is fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons' National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).
Our breast team includes: 2 medical oncologists, 3 breast surgeons, 4 APPS, genetic counselors, nurse navigators, social workers, financial counselors, lymphedema specialists, reconstructive surgery, breast dedicated radiologists, research nurses, palliative care, survivorship, radiation oncology, and high risk and prevention program.
Parkview Cancer Institute (PCI), located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, serves as a tertiary oncology care referral center for the Parkview Health system - a 2 billion dollar not for profit, multihospital entity with an attached tertiary regional medical center and 8 other affiliated community hospitals.
Collaboration with tumor site teams allows for implementation of innovative treatments, multi-disciplinary care and opportunity for clinical research. A Parkview general surgery residency program launches in 2022 with resident education as a core commitment for the breast program.
PCI is also a COC accredited comprehensive community cancer center with multiple subspecialty accreditations.

Interest or experience in leadership role of a comprehensive breast program
Experience or interest in quality and performance improvement initiatives
Experience in resident education
Minimum of 3-6 years of clinical practice experience
