SEC Consultant

SEC Reporting will report to the Sr. Director, Accounting and will be a key player for this growing real estate company. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $50 to $85 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and maintain the quarterly/annual reporting calendars
• Manage the flow of information and supporting documentation from various parts of the Company to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements and financial data
• Own and drive the preparation process for the10K/10Q and earnings releases
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for SEC and statutory filings

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a meticulous attention to detail and superior accuracy
• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP and SEC financial reporting requirements
• Strong drive and high implementation and execution biases
• Experience working with multi-national teams and ability to work collaboratively with all members of the team
• Ability to succeed in a deadline driven environment while keeping a positive, flexible attitude and level head
• Advanced problem-solving skills, high level of detail orientation and process knowledge
• High systems savvy, ability to conceptualize, create and automate new reports to decrease timelines and reduce manual workflows

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience including SEC reporting experience with a publicly traded company
• Advanced proficiency with Workiva, knowledge of XBRL tagging preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong skills in Visio, MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to work US Eastern/Central/Mountain time hours
