Seeking LDRP Nurse 12 hour shifts, with potential for on call 1 Night shift coverage needed1 Day shift coverage neededHousing available (walking distance to hospital) Average of 6-10 deliveries a month 1:1 Nursing, 2 RNs on per shift COVID Vaccination Requirement History/Infoon Mammoth Hospital:Hereis some information on our Birthing Center: we opened a new Birthing Center inJuly 2007 with a 3 bed LDRP, spa tubs. All our OB RN's have ACLS, NRP, somehave STABLE and all have Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced Fetalmonitoring, some have PALS. Some of my RN's have NICU experience as well. Weoffer Relias/APS GNOSIS education from BETA HealthCare.We are a small rural hospital, 13 MS beds, 2 ICU, 3LDRP's, (Birth Center is a separate locked unit) large ER and Perioperativedepartment, in a beautiful ski resort town. We are at 8000 feet above sealevel. Our Birth Center presently takes only low risk patients above 36.6 weeksgestation. We delivered 70 babies last year. We currently transfer out babiesthat are high risk and beyond our scope. We have fulltime anesthesia and ourPediatrician's attend all unscheduled C/S's and high risk births. We haveexcellent RT's here as well. We have 2 fulltime OB-GYN's.Most of my L&D RN's have 10-40+ years' experienceworking in L&D, and most are from Southern California. I have 40+ years inLabor and Delivery, High Risk Perinatal and have been the Nurse Manger here atMammoth Hospital for 20 years now. My nurses work independently and are veryskilled and trustworthy. We all work well together as a team. I am a workingmanager.We do get that occasion emergency crash C/S, ourresponse time for both OR and OB is within 30 minutes. We have a highlyexperienced Peri-operative Team. We do a few vacuum deliveries and a few lowforceps; we do not do VBAC's here.We have 4 Pediatricians on staff. They cover on a 24hour basis. We tend to have a higher admission rate in winter and have a strongneed for additional education in this area. We just purchased a SIMS Baby fordrills and skills. Presently our medical/surgical nurses care for the Ped'spatients. Did I cover too much? When we have downtime we help Med-Surg and PACUas Helping Hands.
