Description

Turion Space is seeking an experienced DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the CI/CD pipelines of applications to help manage our ground segment, automate our development pipelines, and help build the infrastructure that runs all of our applications. The ideal candidate should be a problem solver who enjoys coding, understands the CI/CD pain points, and is excited to use systems administration, networking, and development experience to integrate the technology stack into an overall DevOps & Infrastructure solution delivering high reliability and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of application infrastructure development
• Automate CI/CD workflows allowing developers to focus on software design and development tasks
• Actively interface with users to learn their problems and create efficient solutions
• Develop and implement new pipelines and infrastructure architectures that improve how Turion Space operates

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
• 2+ years of DevOps and infrastructure development experience
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test CI/CD pipelines from scratch
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test software infrastructure from scratch
• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Some programming experience in in Python, Ruby, or similar object-oriented language
• Experience with docker
• Experience with AWS
• Experience building microservices
• Experience building complex systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
