Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design or provide Project Management
- Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:
- Water and wastewater infrastructure design
- Stormwater management design
- Site grading
- Erosion and sediment control design
- Prepare plans for agency/municipal review
- Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
- Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
- Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand
- Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 5+ years of experience in land development, infrastructure, or civil-site engineering design
- AutoCAD proficiency required, Civil 3D preferred
- Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software preferred
- Knowledge of green infrastructure practices, such as bioretention systems, permeable pavement, infiltration systems, and green roofs
- Familiarity with ArcGIS software
- Must be able to pass a background check to be considered
