Knowledge and Skills:
  • Mastery of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major, defined program management approaches (PMI, Agile, Six Sigma) PMP.
  • Significant knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools (for example, Microsoft Project), with a solid track record of practical application.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment in which this role may not directly control resources.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.

Experience:
  • Seven plus years of progressively responsible IT experience.
  • Five years of successfully managing complex and risky projects.
  • Five plus years of a business unit or business-unit-facing experience, with a commitment to business problem-solving.
  • Experience in leading diverse teams.
  • Experience with the implementation of software systems and platforms.
  • Experience meeting with stakeholders and clients and gathering the project's requirements, goals, and scope.
  • Experience with these supporting processes.
  • Knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle.
  • Workflow and prioritization of assignments.
  • Integration with calendaring and email for work management.
  • Correspondence management.
  • Document management including storage, retrieval, and version control.
