Primary Accountabilities:
Investment Portfolio Management:
- Manage investment and Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) portfolios for CPF and Bank.
- Coordinate investment decisions with asset/liability and funds management strategies to optimize financial results.
- Recommend alternative investment strategies to enhance performance.
- Responsible for satisfactory examinations/audits and compliance with Board policies and regulations related to the investment portfolio.
- Meet budget targets and peer comparison goals.
Loan and Asset Pricing:
- Serve as primary contact for loan and other financial asset pricing.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the pricing model and process.
- Primary Treasury contact and lead for the customer swap program.
Capital Planning:
- Lead and execute capital activities in accordance with the Bank's Capital Plan.
- Evaluate and recommend alternative strategies in the areas of cash dividends, stock repurchases, stock splits, dividend reinvestment and capital raising activities.
Financial Leadership:
- Supports the development of the broader Treasury team.
- Demonstrated ability to work with all lines of business to achieve strategic goals and initiatives.
- Practice continuous improvement and seek efficiency initiatives.
Teamwork:
- Support the Asset Liability Manager and Funding and Liquidity Manager as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in investment management and/or other financial management role required.
- 4+ years of experience in a managerial role required.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
- Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
- Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
- Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
