What YOU Will Do
We are looking for aProject Manager to lead our integrated management systems start-up teams acrossseveral large-scale construction projects, primarily in the design-build arena.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the implementation,operation and support of project management systems tailored to such projects.
Responsibilities :
Leadership and teammanagement:
- Lead, guide and mentorstart-up teams dedicated to initiating major construction projects.
- Coordinate theschedules and quality of deliverables of several projects simultaneously,ensuring that each achieves its objectives.
- Provide guidance toother project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Implementation ofproject management systems:
- Ensure effectiveimplementation of project management systems tailored to design-buildconstruction projects.
- Collaborate with IT andconstruction teams to customize and integrate systems according to projectneeds.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure smooth operationof project management systems, dealing promptly with any problems.
- Followingimplementation of the integrated management system, provide support if issuesor problems arise.
- Drive continuousimprovement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and systems.
Stakeholder management:
- Engage stakeholders,including customers, contractors and internal teams, ensuring clearcommunication and alignment with project objectives.
- Promptly address andresolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.
Quality and riskmanagement:
- Ensure that projectdeliverables meet the highest quality standards.
- Identify potentialrisks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring project success.
What YOU Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree inconstruction engineering, business administration or related field;
- PMP (Project ManagementProfessional) certification from PMI (an asset);
- Minimum 10 years ofproject management experience in the construction industry, with a focus ondesign-build projects;
- Proven experience inthe implementation and operation of project management systems;
- Bilingual ;
- Ability to lead andinfluence teams on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Be mobile as required(project visits and project offices, mainly in the greater Montreal area);
- Strong problem-solvingskills, impeccable attention to detail and results-oriented mentality;
- Excellent communicationskills in French and English.
