Pay: $58 -$63 / hour $125000 - $135000 on conversion
Office Schedule: in office 2x a week
Our client, a well-known and reputable Non-Profit is looking to add a Controller to their team. They are looking for someone who can start immediately and has experience in a non-profit environment!
Requirements:
Responsibilities
Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes and other financial reports.
Maintaining the general ledger, payroll and taxes.
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.
Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
Report analysis and findings to management team.
Manage the accounting team | HR, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- CPA designation a bonus, but not required
- Must have 8+ years of hands-on accounting experience including closing the books and financial statement preparation and analysis
- Experience with multi-company business
- Experience in expanding, fast growing organizations
- Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred, Great Plains and other accounting software a plus
- Strong Excel skills
