Job Description
Our Clinical Technology Solutions client is seeking an Education Specialist to join their team. This is a unique role for the right person and is not a Training position, but has training as a competency. This position requires a deep understanding of the Clinical Research Industry . A passion for education and/or a background in instructional design focusing on adult learners i.e. developing training and documentation, combined with excellent project management and leadership skills, make for an ideal candidate. The right candidate has a broad clinical operations background, and knows how to apply technologies to benefit the clinical research process. Responsibilities include: Partner with Global Learning and Development colleagues to create instructor led courses, eLearning courses and other training programs/materials independently and/or utilizing Subject Matter Experts. For new and existing courses, assist with: - Needs analysis - Timeline/resource estimations - Course design, production, quality control and implementation Deliver training sessions on clinical industry topics (via virtual and/or live classroom) Ensure deliverables are completed on time with high quality and adhere to company standards. Review and update course content during each product/patch release cycle. Represent Company on assigned development projects. Work with eLearning vendors on various course development and localization projects. Assist with the development and rollout of knowledge transfer and train-the-trainer programs to team members for product and industry related courses. Respond to inquiries using good judgment, tact and courtesy, sometimes in stressful situations.

Experience Required
The qualified candidate must be detail oriented, organized and concise. This person must be able to work with a team, but also excel independently, and have the ability to effectively work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines while consistently delivering high quality work. Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Life Science or related field 5+ years of clinical trial management experience required Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical patient management Strong knowledge of clinical drug development (e.g. Phases, study startup, study execution, study close) Knowledge of clinical roles Thorough knowledge of FDA regulation, GCP, and ICH guidelines Corporate training and curricula/courseware development experience and/or degree or professional certificate in education related field (Instructional Design, eLearning Technology, Learning Theory, etc) a plus Strong analytical and research abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent presentation skills Ability to understand software products and write structured course content in a consistent fashion. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner. Ability to travel between east coast offices in PA, NYC and Edison, NJ and approximately 10% (webinars, symposiums, conferences, etc)
