What You'll Do

Accounting Manager, Treasury will be a key member of Accounting Department. The candidate will be responsible for various accounting functions, including daily banking activities, cash forecasting, payroll-related closing processes, etc., and lead various process improvement projects within Accounting. In addition, Accounting Manager, Treasury must be able to work independently, as well as within a team environment in order to provide outstanding service to our internal and external business partners.

The ideal candidate has exceptional skills in treasury and analytics and an innovative mindset to approach finance problems differently. We are looking for a versatile treasury professional looking to build their career and become an integral part of our Accounting operations.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor performance metrics and reporting on established KPI's within Treasury operations team.
  • Manage daily administration of the cash management process which includes daily journal entries, cash analysis, wire transfers, investment, borrowings, and various other cash activities.
  • Manage companies payment activities, including global netting, weekly payment cycles and wire payments in USD and other foreign currencies and monitor balances and status.
  • Develop methodologies for accurate cash forecasting and prepare annual and monthly cash forecasts required by management.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual indirect method cashflows and assist with quarterly and annual audits and internal control compliance.
  • Work as a bank liaison for the department (with the company's main bank and other subsidiaries) and maintain and update bank account signatories.
  • Oversee and manage bank accounts including formation of new entities, dissolutions and closures, changes to our account structure and records.
  • Review payroll journal entries prepared and processed by Payroll Shared Service Center and resolve variances by partnering with stakeholders.
  • Develop methodologies for best estimate of payroll-related accruals and review month-end accruals.
  • Monitor vendor registration processes and ensure accuracy of vendor information.
  • Manage and support Expense Report review processes by analyzing expense reimbursement data and interpreting the statistical information to ensure compliance to company policies and identify the areas of improvements.
  • Work as a liaison with North America Insurance team relating to companies' various insurance programs.
  • Analyze the department's procedures and protocols, present management with any plans to increase efficiency and or accuracy.
  • Own and/or provide support for a variety of Treasury-related tasks and other ad-hoc projects as needed.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (large public company experiences desirable) and 10 years of experience, or an MS/MBA and 8 years of experience, or a PhD and 5 years of experience preferred.
  • 3+ lead or supervisory experiences in Accounting with ability to train, manage and motivate staff in order to complete required projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experiences in cash forecasting and cash management.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with ability to influence others and earn respect of team and business partners.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement and resolve conflicts with external and internal business partners.
  • Self-motivated individual with demonstrated experience and continuous desire in improving and streamlining processes.
  • Korean language skill is a big plus but not required.
  • ERP systems experience (SAP a plus).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to analyze and write commentary to explain results/variances in a concise and clear manner.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, V-Look, etc.).

Base Pay Range

$127,170 - $196,830 USD
