Job Summary:
Work as part of a Cardiothoracic Surgery team to improve outcomes for surgical patients in a dynamic, academic practice. In this role, you will work alongside attending surgeons, other surgery APPs, and surgery nurses and staff. This role has opportunities to participate in educational and scholarly activities that elevate an academic clinical environment. Though APPs in this role will collaborate with other providers, autonomy is both encouraged and fostered.
Rotating Weekend and Night coverage required.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited NP or PA Program Licensed, or eligible, for North Carolina as an NP or PA Current American Heart Assoc. BLS and ACLS certification preferred APP post-graduate experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery required. 3 to 5 years of prior experience as a Cardiothoracic Surgery APP required. Experience with vein harvesting
