Global IT Infrastructure - Network Domain Lead, to manage large global client with complex network infrastructure connecting 70+ countries, 1850+ sites, 11 Data centers using over 56K network gears

Responsibilities:
The IT Infrastructure Network Domain Lead is responsible for the overall design, installation, and connectivity of Client's IT Network including data center, telephony, security, outsourced hosting and cloud environments. They will focus on the prioritization and coordination of the IT Network Infrastructure team, prioritizing activities related to projects and operational support, while interfacing with other departments to ensure that their needs are being met with high quality and appropriate response times.
Leading and empowering the IT Network Infrastructure team in designing and implementing Client's IT Network Infrastructure including new technologies for server, network, telephony and security
Lead the team of highly qualified Network engineers and architects across onsite & offshore delivery centers
Delivery of IT infrastructure strategies, reference architectures, product selection, product standards and design patterns
Reviewing tools and reports to define trends of issues that can be resolved with people, process or systems. Improve delivered business value over time by continuing to refine the process. Mentor team members to elevate their performance and experience.
Interface with and manage relationships with technology vendors including recommending technology purchases, maintain support agreements, and software/hardware lifecycles.
Delivery of infrastructure engineering and automation services
Enable, encourage and support innovation
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of business plans and priorities in each area
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and other 3rd parties
Promote automation and the globalization of IT to reduce costs and improve service
Maintain expertise on network infrastructure technology developments and trends
Lead/participate in the design review and approval process to ensure that designs meet the project requirements, applicable risks are considered, and that strategies and standards are adhered to
Strong broad knowledge in architecture across a broad range of network infrastructure domains
Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions
High level of technical competence
Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of IT operations and project engineering
Ability to balance the "big picture" and short-term implications of individual decisions
Excellent knowledge of market trends and new developments
Provide after hours on call management and coordination
Defining operational metrics for the IT Network Infrastructure team, and providing monthly reports on status
Owning and resolving escalated operational issues, major incidents
Planning and coordinating professional development and training of team
Qualifications:
At least 15 years' experience with working in systems integration and IT Network architecture planning, design, and development
Have a B.S. in MIS or Computer Science, or an equivalent in education and experience
Extensive knowledge of data center network architectures, cloud computing technologies, converged infrastructure consolidation, security, service orchestration
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technology, such as but not limited to, Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN technology, CISCO ASA/Checkpoint Firewalls, Cisco ACI SDN, Cisco Call center, Cisco / Skype IPT, F5, Infoblox, Riverbed, Stealthwatch,ERPM, Tufin, Meraki firewall, Nexus, Cisco Prime
Have experience with cloud provisioning and operations, planning and executing Disaster Recovery and/or BCP tests, and auditing requirements, including PCI
Possess strong requirements gathering and analysis skills for both business and functional requirements
Be able to effectively lead and manage a team of IT professionals and specialists
Be able to communicate effectively with external business partners and internal teams to participate in the delivery of project requirements
Work effectively with other colleagues
Listen effectively and communicate with candor and honesty
Possess the ability to acquire, compile, and evaluate large amounts of data
