General Psychiatrist Visiting Specialist - North Zone

Alberta Health Services - North Zone, and theDepartment of Mental Health, arecurrently looking for General Psychiatrist Visiting Specialists to join North Zone communities and offer in person services to members of North Zone communities at approximately 12 times per year (2-3 days per visit).

This position will require the selected candidate to sign a Visiting Specialist contract rendering their services.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Obtain and maintain an AHS Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide the Services.
• Work collaboratively with peers and care team colleagues in support of patient care.

• Current Alberta Practice Permit to practice in the advertised position (proof of to be included with application).
• Hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (RCPSC).
• Recent and relevant experience in all areas of practice required, as Most Responsible Physician.
