Description
Given the growth that Efficio is going through, we are looking for Managers/Senior Managers level procurement and supply chain management consultants to support our increasing presence in the US. Based out of our office in midtown New York, these experienced consultants will spend up to 4 days on client site anywhere in the US.
Efficio's Managers/Senior Managers lead our engagements with clients. They have overall responsibility for ensuring that the objectives of the engagement are achieved and client expectations are met.
These Managers/Senior Managers set the strategic direction for the engagement and work with Consultants and other team members to ensure each project workstream is strategically aligned. While they must maintain a 'big picture' view, they must also have a good understanding of the detail within each individual workstream.
This candidate will have both an external and an internal focus. Externally, they must build deep relationships with senior client stakeholders to ensure they are fully engaged with the project and the proposed solutions. They are also responsible for identifying additional business development opportunities, both within the engagement and beyond.
Internally, our Managers/Senior Managers are responsible for leading, challenging and motivating their team to continually deliver the best possible outcomes for clients. They act as a sounding board for team members, challenging ideas and guiding the development of strategic solutions. They are responsible for building a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture within their project teams. They also have a key role in developing more junior team members in particular, providing coaching and mentoring to help develop their consulting skills and capabilities.
Efficio Managers/Senior Managers enjoy a great deal of autonomy and responsibility for the success of client engagements. It's a demanding role where the ability to work effectively under pressure, and the willingness to take responsibility and challenge yourself is paramount. Highly developed interpersonal, leadership, strategic and analytical skills are also essential.
This role is challenging - but it's also highly rewarding. Efficio offers a highly collaborative, merit-based environment where performance is recognised and rewarded. Above all, the role offers the enormous satisfaction of leading large and significant assignments across a range of industries and sectors, for some of the world's leading companies.
