The Project Manager (PM) willhave overall leadership and single point of accountability to the Department ofEnergy's office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response(CESER) for the execution of work performed at the Strategic Petroleum Reserves(SPR) Program management Office (PMO) located in New Orleans, LA.
You will lead a team inmanaging the storage, distribution, and maintenance of the SPR, ensuring itsreadiness to respond to emergencies and disruptions in the global oil market.Your role will involve collaborating with government agencies, industrypartners, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that optimizethe utilization and effectiveness of the SPR. You will deliver work out of NewOrleans, LA. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the energysecurity of the United States and play a critical role in ensuring thestability of the global oil market. Your leadership and expertise will beinstrumental in managing the SPR's inventory, conducting risk assessments, andimplementing measures to enhance the resilience and reliability of the SPRinfrastructure. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the strategic planning and operations of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR)
Manage the storage, distribution, and maintenance of the SPR
Collaborate with government agencies, industry partners, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for the SPR
Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to enhance the resilience and reliability of the SPR infrastructure
Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
Lead the executive leadership team responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of the SPR

YOU MUST HAVE
10+ years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on strategic planning and operations
Strong knowledge of the oil and gas sector, including storage and distribution systems
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Energy Management, Engineering, Business)

Experience working with government agencies and regulatory bodies
Knowledge of emergency response and crisis management protocols
