Job Overview:
The Corporate Quality Control Manager oversees and manages all aspects of quality control for Phillips Infrastructure Holdings, ensuring that construction projects meet or exceed industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role involves close collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to maintain and enhance the quality control program.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Quality Control Policies: Craft and enforce comprehensive quality control policies, procedures, and standards to guide project teams towards achieving quality objectives. Training and Education: Educate project personnel and subcontractors on quality control processes to ensure uniform understanding and compliance. Quality Inspections: Perform regular site inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations. Document Control: Keep precise records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans. Quality Improvement: Identify areas for quality enhancement and collaborate with project teams on corrective and preventive measures. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes, ensuring project compliance. Supplier and Subcontractor Oversight: Assess and manage the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors, addressing any issues that arise. Client Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients on quality control issues, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing concerns swiftly. Risk Management: Work with safety and risk management teams to identify and mitigate potential quality-related risks. Reporting: Generate and present detailed quality control reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities.
