Cardiac Surgery - Faculty Position

University of Maryland Medical Associates, LLC (UMMA is seeking a collegial, highly qualified, board eligible/certified Cardiac Surgeon. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, including coronary revascularization, valve disease, advanced heart failure and aortic surgery.
This is an opportunity to join a growing team at WellSpan York Hospital (WYH). The 600-bed hospital is a Level 1 trauma center with 85,000+ ED visits per year. WYH serves as the flagship for an 8-hospital system with 90+ employed cardiology providers, including a CHIP Fellowship trained operator. WYH has expertise and established programs in ECMO, Structural Heart, LVAD, Advanced EP and Advanced Heart Failure. Four of WellSpan's community hospitals operate robust PCI programs, while two support cardiac surgery.
WYH features two dedicated CT operating rooms, two hybrid operating rooms with staff and anesthesia devoted to cardiovascular surgery. A highly skilled intensivist team cares for patients in the Cardiac Surgery ICU. State-of-the-art cardiac imaging, including Cardiac CT, Cardiac MR and a dedicated PET camera.
