** One position will be located in Crescent City and one in Arcata ** Looking for Family Medical w/ OB Help us continue toward our vision- A healthy mind, body, and spirit for generations of our American Indian Community. UIHS is a tribal health program serving the native population of Humboldt and Del Norte counties providing primary care and community outreach services. We strive to bring members of the community together so they can not only be unified in ensuring the best care is provided to their families, but also help in preserving Native culture through d Pediatrics education, community outreach, and medicine.
Looking for Family Medical w/ OB UIHS Physicians provide comprehensive medical care to clients of United Indian Health Services (UIHS).
Duties:
Provides clinical care as granted via the UIHS credentialing and privileging process. Elicits and records information about client's medical history, surgical history, social history, family history, and other pertinent information related to the care of clients. Conducts appropriate physical exams based on the client's chief complaints and reason for visit. Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostics to provide information on client's condition
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: All post-doctorial residency training must be done in an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) approved residency training program. Physician I: Graduate education to include graduation from an accredited Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School. Post-Doctoral Graduate year 1 completion from a primary care Residency Training Program. Physician II: Board Certified or Board Eligible in an American Board of Medical Specialties (AMBS) approved Board. Physician III: Meet above criteria with greater than five (5) years of post-doctoral training clinical experience, or, Have Board Certification in a Primary Care related Fellowship from an AMBS approved Board. Physician IV: Meet the above criteria with greater than ten (10) years of post-doctoral training clinical experience, or, Have greater than five (5) years clinical experience after Fellowship Board Certification in an AMBS approved Board.
