RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrates regional leadership within the organization by modeling company values, mission, and drive for results to achieve revenue goals
  • Identifies, recruits, develops, and continually coaches a team of direct and indirect representatives to be efficient and effective in hospitals including the Operation Room (OR) suite
  • Leads a sales team of internal and 1099 members to successfully execute the sales and revenue plan, holding the team accountable, setting challenging goals and driving the team to exceed them
  • Develops and maintains productive and effective customer relationships with key executives, surgeons, decision-influencers, and decision-makers at major hospitals and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), collaborating with the company's Corporate Account Director in developing IDN strategy
  • Uses creativity, knowledge of market trends, and past experiences to develop and implement approved business plans to contribute to overall success
  • Identifies and monitors multiple local market conditions, analyzing and coordinating activities resulting from identified industry trends, competitor's resources and practices
  • Monitors all field activities to make certain all are within compliance guidelines to mitigate
    corporate risk
  • Provides upward feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions to senior leaders
  • Provides input to the design of sales training and development programs that enable staff
    to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in life sciences, sales, business management, healthcare, or related field

Minimum Experience:
  • 5+ years of medical device or medical technology sales experience with operating rooms, hospitals, product launches, or other relevant experience
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience
  • A different combination of education and experience may be considered
