Senior Cost Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $120,000 per year.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop cost estimates of new and proposed products
• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Preparation of weekly and month-end reporting of cost activity and inventory
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual costs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in cost accounting roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Effective communication and presentation skills
