UPMC is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team in Central Pennsylvania. This is an academic position with the expectation to be involved in didactic and bedside clinical education to support our residency. Our growing team of passionate emergency medicine physicians and advanced providers put an emphasis on the "community" aspect of community medicine, with a leadership team that's "all-in" on a culture emphasizing cooperation and collegiality. Use your knowledge and expertise to evaluate and manage the emergency department processes. Collaborate with other departments to achieve shared goals. Clinical Details
7 acute care hospitals with more than 280,000 visits annually
13-14 shifts/month for full time
Strong APP support at all locations
EPIC EMR system-wide
  • Staffed by a strong, experienced Physician and APP team
  • Onsite employed hospitalist team
  • Emergency Medicine residency program located in Harrisburg
  • EPIC EMR system-wide

Desired Candidate:
  • Full-time, career-minded licensed emergency medicine physician
  • Minimum of three years full time emergency medicine clinical experience and administrative experience preferred.
  • Board certified in emergency medicine through ABEM or AOBEM
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
  • Team-oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate clinical outcomes.
