Our client is a rapidly growing logistics company that provides a variety of services and distribution solution methods globally. They are looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer with a CPA background that will work closely with the President and board of directors to support their growth strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage the transition from being a family-owned company with no debt to a private-equity backed venture with plans for future acquisitions

Responsibilities

• Creating a smart and well-integrated financial roadmap for company growth and success
• Prepare, analyze and present financial reports monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Effectively communicate and present critical organizational financial matters with the Board of Directors
• Lead execution of acquisitions and integration of companies in new markets.
• Oversee all due-diligence efforts
• Development and management of internal financial controls
• Provide oversight and mentoring to three direct reports
• Focus on long term margins and cost structure, maintain high EBITDA margins
• Oversee all correspondence with outside Audit activity

Requirements:

• Seasoned and mature executive leader with 15+ years of relevant financial experience
• CPA highly preferred
• Strong understanding of third-party logistics (3PL)
• Additional preference for candidates with public accounting work experience
