Search Solution Group is eager to hire a Mechanical Engineer for our client, a leading innovator in the global roofing and related products industry, based in Chester, SC. This role is pivotal in designing, analyzing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components to enhance the company's product offerings and ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and promote the company's safety goals, ensuring a safe work environment and aiming for zero incidents.
- Create detailed designs and engineering drawings for mechanical components, systems, and products using CAD software.
- Analyze designs for functionality, structural integrity, and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Develop detailed product specifications, including material requirements and manufacturing processes.
- Innovate and solve engineering challenges to improve product performance and operational procedures.
- Implement and manage maintenance schedules and procedures for mechanical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment and ensure consistent operation.
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience: Minimum of six years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in roofing or related industries.
- Skills: Proficient in CAD software, engineering analysis tools, and simulation software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
