Compensation package: Up to $110,000 base salary (DOE) + 20% bonus eligibility
Role overview:
Steer a new client venture from initial contact to production rollout and operational transfer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the analysis and evaluation of technical specifications.
- Assist in both technical and commercial assessments, while crafting project timelines and plans.
- Effectively allocate resources and plan development stages accordingly.
- Maintain regular and professional communication with customers.
- Utilize software tools to devise schedules and allocate tasks as required.
- Coordinate activities across various departments including Engineering, Estimating, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales.
- Identify and address potential risks to delivery schedules, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Lead the contract review process.
- Manage and update comprehensive development files and project schedules.
- Provide regular progress updates and highlight any issues to Management.
- Ensure compliance with project deadlines.
- Supervise project closure and transfer valuable insights to operations.
Qualifications / Education / Experience:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master's Degree or expertise in power conversion is advantageous.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Demonstrated understanding of contract manufacturing requirements and strategic planning.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly flow, ensuring smooth progress from prototype to production.
- Familiarity with equipment, technology processes, and methodologies necessary to accomplish objectives.
- Effective transversal management: Ability to engage multiple stakeholders, share information, and leverage synergies for optimal efficiency.
- Proficiency in project management principles and tools, capable of overseeing all stages of a project or portfolio, mobilizing resources as needed.
- Strong negotiation abilities: Skilled in negotiation techniques, adept at achieving favorable outcomes without compromising relationships.
- Proficient communication skills: Capable of adapting communication style to suit diverse audiences, effectively conveying messages.
- Results-oriented mindset: Driven to achieve or surpass project goals, making informed decisions and prioritizing bottom-line results.
