Transplant- Inpatient Surgical Non OR- Nights - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Atlanta

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team for night admissions and coverage for transplant service inpatients. Typically our night APP works three 12-hour shifts weekly, making this position dynamic and exciting but also attractive for work-life balance.

As one of the largest and most successful transplant programs in the country, the Piedmont Transplant Institute is a leader in the Southeast in patient outcomes, transplant volumes, and community outreach. We perform approximately 350 kidney transplants and 150 liver transplants yearly. The position is a great opportunity to be part of a large collaborative team of inpatient APPs that work closely with transplant surgeons, nephrologists and hepatologists. We offer an in-depth onboarding process including training on days for 2-3 months prior to rotating into night training with our experienced team. The position is rich in autonomy but support for decision-making is extensive on-call transplant physicians available 24/7, along with in-house hospitalists, ICU providers, ED physician and STAT teams.
