We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join Autoroboto, an organization focused on productizing novel technologies for clients in AR/VR devices and the robotics industry. In this role, your job will center on developing automation solutions for cutting edge robotics projects.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining existing lab hardware and software systems, ensuring seamless automated data collection processes. Additionally, you will lead the development and maintenance of automation solutions aimed at enhancing testing methods, optimizing procedures to reduce duration, and boost throughput. You will be tasked with planning and executing trajectories for robotic arms utilized in data collection tasks, adapting to evolving use cases and requirements. Ownership of internal software tools crucial for automated data collection will be in your purview, where you'll ensure their functionality, reliability, and scalability. Collaboration with a tight-knit team of software engineers will be essential as you work together to enhance and sustain these internal tools. Moreover, your contribution to the overarching software architecture and design will be vital, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability. Your role will also involve active participation in code reviews, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices, thereby fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.

Minimum Qualifications
    • BS degree in CS/EE/CE or equivalent practical experience.
    • 5+ years experience working in automation with robotics.
    • Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
    • Strong understanding of 3d kinematics.
    • Experience working in Python, Flutter and Dart
    • Basic understanding of circuit diagrams and wiring.
    • Ability to understand technical specifications to create and communicate actionable development plans.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts and ideas to team members from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience working with Kotlin and C++
    • Understanding different methods of communication between hardware devices. ie tcp/ip, udp, serial.
