Minimum Required Education:
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution or a combination of experience and education that yields the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Minimum Required Experience:
- Three years supervisory, management, and/or administration experience.
- Three years teaching in higher education.
- Prefer: Experience writing and managing MOU & MOAs to support institutional growth.
- Prefer: Grant writing and administration experience
- Prefer knowledge of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) programs

Essential Job Functions:
- Provides innovative leadership in planning, developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating technical programs.
- Participates in master planning related to the divisions' needs within the service area.
- Assists with class schedule development, faculty assignments and facility designation in accordance with Hill College policies.
- Contributes to marketing technical programs and educational services that are consistent with the mission of Hill College.
- Facilitates and maintains relationships with other colleges, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Prepares, recommends and monitors all JTWP grants and assumes responsibility for proper submission, administration and re-structuring of such grants.
- Prepares, recommends and monitors all memorandums of understanding (MOU) and all memorandums of agreement (MOA) with all external constituencies including corporations, municipalities, civic organizations, etc.
- Participates directly in the determination of Hill College policies and procedures, especially those which affect instructional services and JTWP Pathway
- Prepares, recommends and monitors all JTWP annual budgets and assumes the responsibility for operating within the approved budgets.
- Recommends the facilities and capital equipment requests for programs within JTWP.
- Develops and implements communication channels between administration and faculty/staff as well as lateral communication on behalf of the division; interacts and works collaboratively with other members of the Hill College community and all stakeholders within the service area in areas of mutual concern.
- Ensures directors, coordinators, and faculty engage in long-range planning related to facility needs for all technical programs.
- Provides supervision, management and leadership for faculty and staff through recruitment, recommendation, and evaluation of all full-time and part-time staff in accordance with accredidation, state and institutional policies and procedures.
- Manages office services and divisional facilities including maintaining necessary records, supplies, and equipment within the division.
- Provides instructional oversight.
- Serves as liaison for the JCC Foundation, other corporate partners, and governmental agencies.
Other Information:
- Travel between all Hill College campuses required.
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
- Security sensitive position.
Physical Requirements:
- Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than that for Sedentary Work.
