Audubon is currentlyseeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager specializing in tank farms and terminals to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing end-to-end engineering projects within the oil and gas sector, with a focus on tank farm and terminal infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of industry regulations and standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff involved in the design, construction, and maintenance of tank farms and terminals.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects from concept development to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, procurement, operations, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) to drive project success.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in the development of engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for tank farm and terminal infrastructure, including storage tanks, piping systems, loading/unloading facilities, and instrumentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations, including API, ASME, NFPA, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize safety hazards and environmental impacts associated with tank farm and terminal operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil) from an accredited institution. Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering roles within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on tank farms and terminals.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from conception to completion, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Please note that this is a Technical Engineering Manager Role and only those with strong technical expertise in tank farm and terminal design, including knowledge of storage tank types, piping systems, pumping equipment, and instrumentation should apply.
  • Thorough understanding of industry codes and standards such as API 650, API 653, ASME B31.3, NFPA 30, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results within established timelines and budgets.
