Since 1997, Centurion has proudly partnered with the Georgia Department of Corrections to provide mental health services. We are excited to announce that we will now also be expanding our services to include medical care. Centurion is actively seeking Primary Care Physicians throughout the state for both leadership and outpatient physician opportunities.
The Associate Regional Medical Director is responsible for providing comprehensive medical direction in collaboration with the Regional Medical Director as well as for providing the clinical and utilization management direction needed to meet contract-specific service delivery requirements. The Associate Regional Medical Director mentors, clinically supervises, and evaluates the team-delivered medical services for the patients at all facilities of the contract and promotes the culture of quality medical care using an evidence-based standard of care. This professional serves as the contract's clinical expert, provider resource, clinical and medical management leader, and clinical outcomes driver while representing correctional healthcare to the client and the contract's providers.

Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required
Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure
Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
1-2 years of leadership/directorship experience required
Ability to pass credentialing and background check
