Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Architect to join our architectural team. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for creating innovative and sustainable architectural solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the design and development of inspiring spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Conceptual Design: Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to develop initial design concepts and architectural solutions that meet their functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements.
  • Design Development: Translate conceptual designs into detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications, incorporating structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • 3D Modeling and Visualization: Create 3D models, renderings, and visualizations of proposed architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools to communicate design ideas and concepts effectively.
  • Material Selection: Research and evaluate building materials, finishes, and construction techniques to recommend appropriate selections based on project requirements, performance criteria, and sustainability goals.
  • Construction Documents: Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules, to communicate design intent and facilitate the construction process.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project team members to integrate architectural design with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, and resolve design conflicts or issues as they arise.
  • Construction Administration: Provide support during the construction phase by reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), and ensuring that the built environment aligns with the approved design documents and specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality reviews of architectural drawings and documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients, project stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to present design proposals, solicit feedback, address concerns, and obtain necessary approvals throughout the design and construction process.
  • Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture and design, and actively participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • years of experience working in an architectural firm or design studio, with a demonstrated portfolio of completed projects across various building types and scales.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong design sensibility and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative and functional design solutions.
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards related to architectural design, construction, and sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional architectural design that enhances the built environment and enriches the lives of people.
  • Licensure as a registered architect preferred but not required.
  • LEED accreditation or other sustainability certifications a plus.
