Who You Are:

• An exceptionally driven and motivated individual with an innate desire to win

• You have historical experience in the industry or a personal interest in the space where education will be limited (3+ years preferred)
• You might have been a trader, consultant, investment banker, industry expert, product manager, or blockchain engineer before coming to Galaxy

What You'll Do:

• Become one of Galaxy's technical experts on blockchain infrastructure and assist in managing a proprietary trading book focused on blockchain infrastructure
• Develop deep ecosystem relationships across all digital asset counterparties, including L1, L2, and MEV communities, custodians, financial institutions, Foundations, DeFi protocols, infrastructure providers and more
• Develop a blockchain infrastructure-focused operating business with a full suite of products (staking as a service, RPC services, oracle data services), focused on expanding, enhancing, and improving processes
• Develop financial products associated with blockchain infrastructure services and assist in tactical Galaxy-wide "special situations" (across derivatives, credit, etc.)
• Support deal flow end-to-end including modeling, structuring, validation, risk assessment and execution related to products, tokens, and various other structures in the cryptocurrency markets
• Collaborate with Galaxy Ventures on new projects for investment, and with Galaxy's Distribution and Trading teams to place products among Galaxy's Institutional clients
• Collaborate with traditional financial institutions to develop products that meet risk, security, and regulatory requirements, then manage all phases of staking-based product development across various internal and external stakeholders (Operations, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Trading, and Engineering)
• Participate in the overall business development of the company by cross selling Galaxy's services to various cryptocurrency projects, supporting Galaxy's holistic approach to partnerships

What We're Looking For:

• At least 3+ years work experience in business development and/or Investment Banking/Capital Markets with at least 1+ year working directly in the digital assets industry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment and multitask
• Self-starter with a strong desire to improve processes and continue building out Galaxy's global presence and reach
• Able to work effectively in a globally distributed team environment; exquisite communication skills with a strong attention to detail
• Deep passion for and interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
• An understanding of the protocol and blockchain development lifecycle

Bonus Points:

• Existing Rolodex within the Cryptocurrency Space
• Experience working with Blockchain Data across multiple databanks (Dune, Coin Metrics, Blockchain explorers etc..)
• Technical Expertise: Python, SQL

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Associate Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000

Vice President Base Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000
