Viagio is now hiring an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to work with our hybrid team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our development and project management teams to deliver innovative custom solutions to our clients.
The Cloud Engineer at Viagio will: collaborate closely with other engineers to build, deliver and maintain our client's cloud-based systems.

Salary Description
$105,000 - $135,000
The Cloud Engineer at Viagio will: collaborate closely with other engineers to build, deliver and maintain our client's cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
- Migrating existing applications from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud
- Collaborating with other engineers to deliver solutions to our clients
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
- Monitor the performance of cloud-based systems and optimize resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and high availability.
- Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs
- Learning new technologies and determining the right time to deploy them
- Testing and deploying cloud infrastructure
- Developing technical documentation to guide future cloud projects
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
- 3+ yrs experience designing, development, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of data storage and database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C#
- Knowledge of one or more source code management systems, testing frameworks, and IDE's
- Hunger for learning new things and stretching your technical abilities
- Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications preferred

- Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible
- Languages: C#, JavaScript, Typescript, Python, SQL
- Frameworks: ASP .NET Core, Angular, React, Vue
- Cloud tech: AWS, Azure, GCP
Working Conditions:
- General office setting/work from home capabilities -no hazardous chemicals or manufacturing equipment/production lines/machinery, however, noise levels fluctuate with open office environment
- Minimal travel (20%)- mostly to client sites - all day meetings for project discussions and follow up meetings
- Will spend long periods of time:
- Sitting/standing at meetings and at desk
- Keyboarding and using mouse
- Reading
- Client interaction (available to communicate during core business hours 9a-3p CT)
- Team interaction (available to mentor and guide during core business hours 9a-3p CT)
