Compensation: $105,000 - $150,000 / year

Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties:
- Must be willing to work in the field routinely lifting 50-60 lbs, but also have the ability to work on office tasks including data processing and extraction
- Fluent with Trimble equipment including GPS, Robotic Total Stations, and Scanners. Mobile lidar, drones, and point cloud experience a plus
- Apply field techniques related to boundary retracement, design support, and construction surveying support
- Able to manage multiple projects and staff
- Collect information needed to carry out new surveys using source maps, previous survey data, photographs, computer records, recorded documents, and other relevant information
- Compiles survey computations with applicable standards to determine the adequacy of data
- Compiles information necessary to stake projects for construction, using design plans
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
- Considerable knowledge in property/ownership/documentation research, boundary law, writing legal descriptions, and preparing boundary surveys, plats, ALTA/NSPS surveys, terrestrial topographic maps, construction staking, and roadway right-of-way projects
- Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, MS Office, Bentley, and Trimble Access.
- Precision and ability to perform QA/QC are critical
- Strong sense of urgency, with outstanding prioritization skills and professionalism
- Ability to learn and develop new skill sets
- State Professional Land Surveyor license is required in the State of Texas
- 5 to 10 years experience
