Overview
Job Summary
The Information Systems Cloud Architect is responsible for shaping and implementing HMA's hybrid and multi-cloud strategy. This includes providing strategic direction for the design, integration, and management of cloud and hybrid system solutions across the organization. The Information Systems Cloud Architect will actively manage diverse cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid.

Qualifications
Education/Training
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline is required.
Experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and implementing information system infrastructure and cloud solutions required. Certification in Microsoft Azure is required. AWS experience, knowledge of HIPAA requirements, and/or direct experience with HITRUST, ISO, NIST, SOC 2, or SOX is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Act as cloud architect resource and subject matter expert
- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud and hybrid solutions to meet the organization`s business needs and technical requirements
- Provide guidance and architecture review of proposed cloud functions or practices
- Define and implement multi-cloud architecture and policies
- Participate in M&A activities
- Participate in documentation, presentation, and process improvements
- Generate technical reports and create presentations detailing the approach and solutions for advancing cloud architecture within the company
- Develop, recommend, and execute strategic and tactical roadmaps in conjunction with business partners and Information Technology team leadership
- Identify and develop new standards for cloud adoption
- Offer collaboration and support on projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide third level support for IT related issues
- Provide strategic influence and enhancement of cloud solutions
- Participate in the development of requirements to facilitate both business vision realization and cloud architecture target state creation
- Influences product direction and integrates technology from a cloud architectural perspective
- Identify enhancements and gaps in architectural frameworks, standards, and patterns to raise them for consideration for inclusion in the future versions
- Work effectively as a team, supporting other members in achieving business objectives
