Key Responsibilities
Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures across all construction phases.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure adherence to these policies.
Site Inspections and Compliance:
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Evaluate workmanship, materials, and safety protocols.
- Address any deviations promptly and work with teams to rectify issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to quality control.
- Prepare reports on inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for future reference and audits.
Materials Testing and Approval:
- Oversee material testing processes, including fire-resistant materials, electrical components, and mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with third-party testing agencies to validate material quality.
- Approve or reject materials based on test results.
Risk Mitigation and Continuous Improvement:
- Identify potential risks related to quality and safety.
- Implement preventive measures to mitigate risks.
- Continuously improve quality processes based on lessons learned and industry best practices.
Training and Team Development:
- Train site personnel on quality standards, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Foster a culture of quality consciousness among team members.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Experience: Prior experience in construction quality control or quality assurance (3 years minimum)
