Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Procurement Operations Manager working extensively in Vancouver, BC with our client, an athletic apparel retailer. As a key member of our Client Services team, you will be responsible for implementing procurement processes and supporting client purchasing operations as part of a large procurement engagement servicing our Retail client in Vancouver, BC, reporting to our Managing Director, Sourcing and Procurement - Indirect.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee implementation of agreed-to centralized procurement process to drive savings and operational efficiencies
  • Oversee and support the development of procurement operations procedures including PO administration approach and business stakeholder requests for client Procurement team
  • Ensure business unit stakeholders and Procurement utilize and leverage Coupa procurement system capabilities and work within the requisition process
  • Collaborate with client to develop procurement governance structure and processes.
  • Accurate and timely procurement in compliance with contractual Service Level Metrics
  • Support onboarding of new approved vendors within Coupa procurement system
  • Develop strategies and plans to enable and manage web catalogs and review pricing exceptions and SKU rationalization
  • Handle price verification on new supply set ups (verify rates and any misc. charges)
  • Oversees monthly reporting for indirect procurement categories
  • Problem solving technical procurement and relationship issues
  • Providing first-rate customer service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance related to price, quality and service


Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years project management, procurement, and/or accounts payable experience
  • Experience with Coupa Spend Management software platform is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and Word; knowledge of job management software highly preferred
  • Ability to excel in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires a fast learner and flexible thinker
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with different deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Desire and ability to take full ownership of projects and produce high quality work
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player; able to interact with all levels of management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills

This position may require minimal travel.
